Ordering is simple: Send us an email.
We'll respond with exact costs and where and how to send payment.
We accept PayPal, money orders, personal checks and cash.
Don't worry if you don't get an immediate response. I check my email
only once a day
(sometimes not that often) and a two- or three-day delay is routine.

Charges approximate our actual costs
for postage and
packing materials; we don't charge
Parts shipped free with other items;
$5.00 if shipped alone.
Single book, student slide rule, or
leather case shipped in a padded envelope: $5.00.
Single pocket slide rule or anything
else we can ship in a USPS “Small Flat Rate Priority Mail Box:” $8.00.
Everything else (Priority Mail): $12.00.
Shipment is at buyer's risk. We have
never had a lost item and only two damage claims
but USPS insurance is available at
We charge estimated postage plus $2.50
for packing materials. Most items are shipped as "first class packages."
International Priority Mail is about twice as expensive as first class
but no quicker; the cheapest Priority Mail option in a "medium" box is
about $65 to most countries. We don't use Priority Mail for international
shipments unless the buyer explicitly requests it. International
shipments are trackable on the website http://www.17track.net.
The Slide Rule Trading Co. self-insures international shipments at USPS
simplest. PayPal charges your credit card or bank account in your
currency and credits our account in dollars. Second is an International
Money Order in dollars. Wire transfers are not practical since our
bank charges an exorbitant $21 to $25.
We will refund all costs, including
shipping both ways,
for any item that is not at least as
good as advertised.
